PENN ROBTICS FTC TEAM
Penn Robotics FTC Team
Participation in this event is an after-school commitment for Freshman and Sophomores, starting in the Fall and ending in early Spring. There are 3 FTC Teams at Penn High School. They learn the basics of robotics and how to work on a team. We got to compete in two FIRST Robotics FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) competitions in the Midwest. We built a robot to complete a game design challenge.
Technical opportunities on the team include CAD Design, Fabrication, Assembly, Controls and Software Development. Non-technical opportunities include Networking, Fundraising, Community Outreach, Professional Presentation, Scouting, Industrial Design, Marketing, Technical Writing, and Ambassador for School & Team.
My responsibilities on the team included:
Building
Assembly
Hand-Sketching Designs (see sketches)
